The Story Behind the Studio
Frequent moves across the country during my time in the military gave me a unique perspective on home. Each new assignment meant starting over in unfamiliar spaces — empty rooms that had to quickly become something more: a place of comfort, stability, and identity. Over time, I discovered that thoughtful design has the power to do exactly that — turn a house into a true home, no matter where life takes you.
That belief became White Oak Interiors. After six years in the Ohio Air National Guard, I brought the same discipline, follow-through, and attention to detail into a studio built around one idea: design that's beautiful, functional, and made to last.
What It's Like to Work With Me
As a solo designer, I'm your single point of contact from the first conversation to the final reveal — no handoffs, no details lost in translation, clear communication from start to finish. I handle design, material and finish selections, 3D renderings, and the day-to-day coordination of a vetted network of contractors I have worked years with and trust wholeheartedly, so the whole process stays organized and you don't have to manage it.
I specialize in full-home transformations, kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, and basements. I believe the best design comes from collaboration: you have a voice in every decision, and my job is to guide you toward choices you'll love — beautiful and functional, built to last rather than tied to a passing trend. I'm also honest about budget, and I work to make your investment go as far as it can without cutting corners.

Beyond the studio, I'm a wife and a mom of three, so I know firsthand how much a home shapes daily life. It's also why my client relationships tend to become real friendships — this work is personal to me, not transactional.
