Bexley Hills Master Suite
A Master Suite Renovation — in Xenia, Ohio.
The clients came to us with a master bathroom that wasn't working for their family — tight, with a tiny shower, a cramped closet, no storage, and no tub, which they'd missed from their previous home. Our job was to rethink the entire suite into one cohesive, spa-like retreat.
The original layout fought them: a vanity boxed in by walls and a toilet closed off in its own little room. So we reworked the footprint, expanding the bathroom three feet, removing the old closet, and enlarging the shower. A cramped single shower became a spacious two-person one, with room at last for a massive volcanic-stone soaking tub.
The closet got the same care — redesigned from bare wire shelving into a fully functional space with shoe storage, generous clothing storage, and a built-in laundry pull-out, finished with a pocket door to preserve every inch. Inspired by nature, the design leans into a calm green palette, matte green glass tile, and warm gold accents, with an open glass shower, a new window, and a light above the tub to bring in the natural light the space had always lacked.
The result is exactly what the clients hoped for — a master suite that finally functions for their family, with a spa-inspired bath and a closet as beautiful as it is hardworking.
