The Bellbrook home came to us shortly after the clients purchased it, with a clear goal: add warmth across the first floor and completely reimagine the kitchen. It grew into a full first-floor transformation — new flooring, trim, and carpet, a relocated fireplace, and a kitchen built for the way they actually live.

The original kitchen was tucked on one side of the home and built around a dated fireplace. We relocated that fireplace to the living room and rebuilt the kitchen at double its size — a dream for clients who love to cook and entertain. A custom built-in refrigerator anchors the new storage, flowing into a pantry and coffee station, while a main island seats four and a taller dining island seats eight beneath a striking crystal chandelier. Throughout, a palette of whites, woods, and greens keeps the space bright and timeless, with custom oak curve detailing, glass-front cabinetry, and an integrated cooktop adding warmth and craft.

In the living room, the relocated fireplace becomes the focal point, framed by custom arches and built-ins. A rich green velvet sofa anchors the room, layered with warm browns and pops of the clients' favorite purple. And a formal dining room they never used became a cozy lounge — a quiet place to read and unwind at the end of the day.
